Reiki (Ray-key) is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation. Similar to that of a spa treatment. Reiki Promotes healing, helps with better sleep, improves and maintains health.
It is a simple, natural and safe method that anyone can benefit from. It works alongside all other medical or therapeutic techniques as it activates the parasympathetic nervous system in helping the body to balance itself.
Reiki treats the body, emotions, mind, and spirit by creating relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing.
Reiki is offered through the hands of the practitioner with a light, non-invasive touch, on the front and back of the body and head. The placement of the hands will never be intrusive or inappropriate. The Reiki practitioner can hold their hands above the client’s body if they request.
No one really knows. But, Reiki allows positive energy to flow into the body through the hands of the practitioner and this assists in the balancing and healing of the client. Reiki works in positive ways and will never cause harm.
Reiki supports all types of therapy. It can assist with relieving symptoms and aid in recovery from multiple sclerosis, heart disease, cancer, skin problems, cuts, bruises, broken bones, headache, colds, flu, sore throat, sunburn, fatigue, depression, insomnia, poor memory, lack of confidence, etc.,
It is always recommended to follow the guidance of your qualified medical professional or doctor.
A quiet setting where you are not disturbed. Professional Reiki practitioners have a dedicated space or can create that space when making house calls. Music can be played during a session.

People typically leave a Reiki session feeling refreshed. People mention a sense of calm and mental clarity as well as sleeping well.
